Scientific astrology is a small, but exiting field of scientific inquiry. Although – to quote Richard Tarnas – many people regard astrology as “the gold standard of superstition” the actual data suggests that the astrological hypothesis holds water, and that Nature is much more communicative and/or infused with meaning than the natural sciences would have us expect.

At Mahat we are confident that an honest appraisal of recent research powered by (publicly available) Big Data and AI can challenge negative stereotypes about astrology, and can offer an alternative to uninspiring scientism-based views of Nature. More frivolously, we would say that scientific astrology and Big Data are a ‘match made in heaven’.
