Mahat is a platform for the promotion of big data-driven scientific astrology. We’ve recently submitted the first paper that explicitly refers to this platform, so stay tuned.
For now we’ll just say that this paper is ‘ruled’ (as astrologers like to say) by the Main Belt asteroid 10101 Fourier, named after Jean-Baptiste-Joseph Fourier (1768-1830), the French mathematician who exerted a strong influence on mathematical physics through his Théorie analytique de la chaleur (1822), wherein he showed that representing a function as a sum of trigonometric functions greatly simplifies the study of heat transfer; a technique which eventually developed into Fourier analysis and harmonic analysis.
